SOLUTION: 

Quick Fix Solution

  1. Navigate to the following folder: C:\Program Files\Statistical Solutions Ltd\nQuery + nTerim 4.0\Templates\nQuery
  2. Right click on any .nqa file; in the context menu, select Open with -> Choose default program…
  3. Browse to find nQuery70.exe file and select (The default location is C:\Program Files\Statistical Solutions Ltd\nQuery + nTerim 4.0*)
  4. Make sure “Always use the selected program to open this kind of file” is checked
  5. Click OK

Full Fix Solution
This error affects only a tiny percentage of our users. We have managed to replicate the error and created a new installer to resolve the issue. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Please make sure to un-install any version you have currently installed and restart your machine
  2. Once you have uninstalled and rebooted, please email us to request your version installer
  3. Once you have received and downloaded the installation file, unzip this file
  4. Follow the onscreen prompts and install the software
  5. As you have already activated the software with previous install you should not be asked to register again
