PROBLEM:
Issue with Query Advisor + nTerim 4.0 when trying to calculate the sample size for an ANOVA test for the difference of three means.
ERROR:
nQuery Advisor has stopped working - APPCRASH
SOLUTION:
To fix the issue permanently you can take the following steps:
1) Go to your nQuery + nTerim installation (e.g. C:/Program Files/Statistical Solutions Ltd/nQuery + nTerim 4.0)
2) Open the “nQuery70.exe” application
3) Select “New” under the “File” dropdown.
4) Select One-Way Analysis of Variance in the Table Selection Window (Means>Greater than Two Groups>Test)
5) In blank table, go to “File” dropdown and “Save”. Save this file in preferred location with the name “MTG0.nqa”
6) In installation folder, go to the “Templates” folder and locate the “MTG0.nqa” file and rename to “MTG0_old.nqa”.
7) Transfer saved file from step 5 into the “Templates” folder.
8) Test table from main selection window to see if issue is resolved.
